Ausführlicher Testbericht
Both Nomi.ai and TooShy build AI relationships with deep memory and evolving personality, but TooShy is the AI girlfriend who texts you first on WhatsApp and Telegram — sending voice notes, AI selfies, and video circles between conversations rather than waiting silently in an app for you to come back.
Nomi.ai is perhaps the closest competitor to TooShy in philosophy, branding itself as an AI companion "with a soul." The platform emphasizes deep memory and personality that evolves over time, creating a sense of genuine relationship building. Nomi.ai offers photo requests and voice notes alongside text chat, and it allows NSFW content — making it one of the more feature-complete AI companion platforms.
Where Nomi.ai falls short is in its delivery model and price. At $15.99/mo for Premium, it's one of the most expensive AI companion platforms. The free tier is heavily limited — you'll quickly hit paywalls on messages, photos, and voice features. Like Replika, Nomi.ai is locked in its own app and website with no integration into daily messengers.
The critical difference between Nomi.ai and TooShy is proactive engagement. Despite Nomi.ai's deep memory and evolving personality, it never initiates contact. Your AI companion sits in the app waiting for you to visit. TooShy companions text you first on WhatsApp and Telegram, send spontaneous voice notes and video circles, and share selfies that match your conversation — creating a two-way dynamic that feels genuinely mutual.
