HoneyChat Alternatives: What the Tiers Unlock

Yes, and the reason to look is printed on HoneyChat's own pages. Its Telegram bot, @HoneyChatAIBot, is sold in six tiers from free to $99.99 a month, and the plan table ties adult content to the tier: “Romance & flirting” on the free one, “18+ content unlocked” from $4.99, “Uncensored RP models, full 18+” at $39.99. Its FAQ says it “offers unfiltered conversations,” while its content policy says “HoneyChat is not an unrestricted adult-content engine.” Everything below comes from those pages, read on 17 October 2026.
HoneyChat is one of a handful of AI girlfriend bots that live inside Telegram, and that group as a whole is compared in our roundup of Telegram AI girlfriend bots. What follows is narrower: what HoneyChat charges for and promises, where its own documents disagree with each other, and five places to go depending on which part you are leaving. One of the five is ours.
What HoneyChat is
HoneyChat is a Telegram bot with a browser version at honeychat.bot. It sells anime and realistic companions that remember earlier conversations and send voice notes, generated photos and short video clips. Its own copy counts “100+” characters and adds a visual editor for building your own, with “80+” appearance options. The site says there is no account, email or phone number to hand over, and its footer also offers Google and Discord sign-in, so what you share depends on which door you use. The age limit is 18+, and Telegram lists the bot as “HoneyChat (18+).”
Two usage figures exist, and they measure different things. The About page claims “50K+” active users and “5M+” messages sent, with no window attached. Telegram's own page for the bot showed “71 611 monthly users” on 17 October 2026, a count Telegram produces without saying what makes someone count. The operator is named only as “HoneyChat,” with a Proton Mail address and the bot handle for contact. No company, country or registration appears in the Terms, the privacy policy or the payment rules.
Same name, different site
A second site, honeychat.ai, uses the same name for something different: an adult image and video studio with nine tools and a chat feature attached. Guest chat there is capped at 50 requests per 24 hours and 400 for signed-in members, and its two annual plans are $99 and $199, paid in a monthly allowance of “Neurons” worth $0.001 each. None of the pages read mention Telegram. Neither site links to the other, and nothing on either says they share an operator, so they are treated as separate products here. The Telegram bot is the one at honeychat.bot and @HoneyChatAIBot.
What each tier unlocks
The plan table has six rungs. Free gives 20 messages a day, one character, three images and one voice message a day, and no video. Basic is $4.99 a month for 60 messages a day, three characters, 10 images and 10 voice messages a day, and two videos a month. Premium, $9.99, drops the message cap to “Unlimited” and lists 10 characters, 30 images, 20 voice messages a day and four videos a month, under the line “Unlimited chats + HD photos.”
Above that, VIP is $19.99 (20 characters, 80 images and 50 voice messages a day, eight videos a month, “AI model choice + more 18+”). Elite is $39.99 (unlimited characters, 150 images, 100 voice messages, 16 videos, “Uncensored RP models, full 18+”). Ultimate is $99.99 (250 images, 200 voice messages, 32 videos, with Grok and Claude Haiku named in its description). Annual billing is quoted as saving 25%. Payment is Telegram Stars, bought inside Telegram with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a bank card, or crypto through CryptoBot in TON; one landing page also says “card” without saying where. The “characters” line is never explained, so whether it limits how many companions you can talk to or how many you can keep is not stated.
Adult content does not follow a single rule. At signup the bot asks for a pace, and the FAQ says choosing “Instant 18+” makes “explicit conversations and photos” available “from your very first message.” The plan table puts “Romance & flirting” on the free rung. And a photo beyond what a plan allows “appears with a soft preview blur and a one-tap upsell,” with “VIP and Elite remove the blur entirely.” Read together, the pace setting governs what is said and the plan governs how clearly the pictures arrive. That is a reading of those paragraphs, not a sentence the site prints.
What it says about filters
The marketing and the policy sit far apart. The FAQ answer to “How is HoneyChat different from Character.AI?” says HoneyChat “offers unfiltered conversations,” and the comparison table has a row called “Unfiltered Text & Voice” that puts “Filtered” against Character.AI and Candy AI and “Limited” against Replika. The AI Content and Moderation Policy, updated March 2026, says in its first section that “HoneyChat is not an unrestricted adult-content engine” and that the service “may block, limit, or refuse prompts, uploads, accounts, or outputs.” Its allowed list includes “non-graphic erotic themes” and “partial nudity, where permitted.” Erotic media sits under restricted content, which may be “filtered, blurred, softened, delayed, region-locked.”
Candy.ai is the odd entry in that table. HoneyChat marks it “Filtered,” while Candy.ai's own meta description uses the word uncensored when we read it on 21 September. The mismatch does not prove either side wrong, since filtering can differ by feature, but it shows the table is HoneyChat's position rather than a measurement. The prohibited list is the usual one: minors, coercion, incest, bestiality and intimate deepfakes of real people. A note for UK users says adult features may be unavailable there unless age checks are completed.
Money, renewal and privacy
Cancelling is where the sources thin out. The payment rules say recurring plans “renew automatically until cancelled,” that stopping before the renewal date is the user's job, and that where a platform controls billing, cancelling goes through that platform. The refund rule is that purchases are final once access has started, with exceptions at the operator's “sole discretion,” such as a duplicate charge or a technical failure. The Terms of Use are shorter and harder: “Refunds are not provided after access to Materials has been granted,” with 24 hours to contact support about a dispute. A purchase made through Telegram may be sent to Telegram's own refund procedure.
The Terms of Use describe the service as “informational materials, educational programs, consultations, digital products, and service offerings” and never mention companions or chat. The privacy statement is plainer: account ID, IP address, device data and interaction history are kept, nothing is sold, deletion can be requested, and “a bot chat isn't end-to-end encrypted.” Memory is described as semantic and long-term, with the character searching “by meaning across your whole history,” and clearing history deletes the memory, which resets the relationship to a fresh start.
Six products, ordered by how much of HoneyChat's shape each one keeps: delivery inside Telegram first, a free way in second, a character catalogue third. HoneyChat itself sits outside the order as the product being left. The HoneyChat and Girls In Sync rows were read on 17 October 2026; the SpicyChat, Nomi and Candy.ai rows on 21 September 2026, from each company's own pages.

What the alternatives say for themselves
Girls In Sync is the nearest thing to HoneyChat on Telegram. It runs a bot, t.me/GirlsInSyncBot, and a site that counts “800+” characters, up from the 650+ recorded on 21 September. The way in is a preview: after sign-in, “a one-time allowance of 5 messages across characters,” then Premium for unlimited text and voice messages, with generated photos and videos paid in tokens and live voice minutes bought separately. Its pricing page describes itself as “Card, Telegram Stars, and crypto accepted.” The site shows a “-70%” badge on Premium and prints no amount in the page text we could read, because its pricing page loads the figures client-side. On 21 September the same site listed a $4.99 seven-day offer, which the text read on 17 October does not show. Its footer names the company, Motosurfing s.r.o.
SpicyChat is a website and an iOS app with no Telegram bot. Its own copy promises “Unlimited Messages... No paywalls. No timers.” Three paid tiers, Get A Taste at $5.95 a month, True Supporter at $19.95 and I'm All In at $29.95, took effect on 8 September 2026, and memory is sold as a number: 4K of context on the first, 8K on the second, up to 32K on the third, plus Semantic Memory 2.0 and a 250-character Memory Manager. It claims “1 Million+ NSFW Characters,” while a developer's reply on its App Store listing puts the live library at “over 1,000 characters.” Read on 21 September.
Nomi is one companion you build rather than a catalogue to browse, on web, iOS and Android. Its homepage says chatting is “Free (no credit card required) to start,” carries the heading “Unfiltered Chats,” and describes memory as “short, medium, and long term” without a figure. Its own site shows no price and the pricing address returns a 404, so the amounts come from the App Store: Launch Plan $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year, Standard $15.99 a month or $99.99 a year. A Nomi can “optionally message you after you have been away for a while,” inside its own app rather than Telegram. Read on 21 September.
Candy.ai runs in a browser and as an installable web app, with no Telegram bot. The homepage prints no amount; monthly, quarterly and yearly plans are described as low-commitment, and its terms disclose about 100 tokens a month at checkout. One token pool covers chat, voice, images and video, so a session costs more or less depending on what gets asked for. Plans auto-renew, with self-service cancellation per the terms. Read on 21 September.
Our own numbers
Ours is a production aggregate, a count with no conversation text. In the thirty days to 15 October 2026, 450,678 messages went through TooShy. HoneyChat publishes nothing to set it against: its 5M+ is a total with no window and its 50K+ has no definition.
Next to a six-rung ladder, our arrangement is short. Premium is $9.99 a month and Ultra is $24.99. Adult content follows the tier here too, with fewer rungs: on the free Telegram trial a conversation can build but stops short of explicit content, and either paid tier unlocks it; Ultra adds more photos and video each month, not a further step in explicitness. Memory runs in three layers and is the same on the free Telegram trial and on both paid tiers. WhatsApp has been paid from the first message since 4 August 2026, the Telegram trial needs no card, and a free account gets 100 messages a week. Photo and video packs from $6.99 are an add-on for subscribers, priced in dollars like everything else.
What HoneyChat does better
Catalogue and price of entry go to HoneyChat. It counts 100+ characters and lets you build your own with 80+ appearance options, where ours is dozens written in-house with no editor. Its first paid rung is $4.99 and already carries 18+ content and two video clips a month; our first is $9.99. It also takes Telegram Stars, which we do not.
The free rung is a real product, with voice and three images a day published as numbers and no card asked for, against our 100 messages a week. And the ladder runs higher: at $99.99 a month Ultimate lists 250 images and 200 voice messages a day, a volume our $24.99 top tier has no counterpart to.
Where we fall short
The cast here is small, fixed and written by us, dozens of companions, none user-made, no builder, no editor and nothing to export. There is no screen that shows what a companion has kept about you and no entry to correct it when something lands wrong. Group chats do not exist. Anyone leaving HoneyChat because 100 characters were not enough should stop reading here.
Scale is the other gap. We are a small service, and the free way in is Telegram or nothing, since WhatsApp costs money from the first message. We do not take Telegram Stars, so someone who wants to pay inside Telegram without a card has no route with us.
Who each of these suits
- Pick Girls In Sync if a Telegram bot with a very large cast is the point, and not seeing a price until the preview is over is acceptable.
- Pick SpicyChat if you want a browser, a catalogue and three printed prices, and Telegram was never the requirement.
- Pick Nomi if one companion that remembers matters more than a cast, and you are happy to read the price in the App Store.
- Pick us if you would rather have the conversation arrive inside WhatsApp or Telegram at one of two prices, with the same memory on every tier, and a small in-house cast is an acceptable trade.
- Pick Candy.ai if a browser and generated pictures are the draw and learning the amount at checkout does not bother you.
- Stay on HoneyChat if the free rung already works, paying in Stars suits you, and the size of the cast and the editor are what you came for.
Where these facts came from
Everything quoted about HoneyChat was read on 17 October 2026 on honeychat.bot: the AI girlfriend page, which carries the plan table, the FAQ and an “Updated: October 8, 2026” line, the About page, the legal page with its Terms, privacy policy, content policy and payment rules, and the memory page. The usage figure came from the bot's page on Telegram the same day. The honeychat.ai details came from its homepage, pricing page, safety page, Terms and llms.txt. Girls In Sync was read on 17 October. The facts about SpicyChat, Nomi and Candy.ai come from each company's own pages on the dates recorded against them in our notes. Our own figures are production aggregates for the thirty days to 15 October 2026 (the message total).
Open questions
Nobody here has paid for a HoneyChat month or sent its bot a message, so several things are open. Whether Basic's “18+ content unlocked” differs in practice from what “Instant 18+” gives on the free rung. What the preview blur looks like and how much of a photo it hides. What the “characters” line limits. How a refund requested through Telegram Stars is handled. And whether the same operator stands behind honeychat.ai. Those answers come from someone who runs the tests, not from a review site.
