Is Candy AI on Telegram? What Its Site Shows

Candy.ai isn't on Telegram. It has no bot and no official Telegram presence of any kind — the community link on its own site goes to Discord — so anything on Telegram that calls itself Candy AI isn't run by Candy.ai. It has no app in either store, either: Candy.ai is a website that you add to your home screen, and the Candy-named apps in the App Store belong to other developers. We read its homepage, subscription page, terms of service, legal information, contact and affiliate pages on 14 October 2026, and the word Telegram doesn't appear on any of them.

What Candy.ai is, according to its own site

The homepage is titled "Candy AI: AI Girlfriend App | Chat w/ Pics, Voice, & Video", which is a generous label for something with no app; the app part is a browser tab with an "Add to Home Screen" prompt. You build or pick a character — the site lists ethnicity, hairstyle, voice and personality traits as settings — and talk to her by text, with voice, generated pictures and AI video alongside. The homepage also says the characters are built with "memory retention" and remember what you tell them, without putting a number on how much. The top bar reads Home, Shorts, Chat, Collection, Create Character, My AI, Private Content, Become Premium, Help Center, Discord, Contact Us and Affiliate.

Shorts is the item in that bar that matters here. It's Candy.ai's own feed of short clips and it lives on candy.ai, as part of the website. There's no copy of it in Telegram, and the one chat community the site links to is a Discord server. If you were hoping to watch the feed inside Telegram, the feed isn't there.

Candy.ai and TooShy side by side

Here's how that sits next to a companion that lives inside Telegram. Every Candy.ai cell comes from candy.ai itself, and where its pages give no number or no answer, the cell says so rather than guessing.

Two rows carry most of the difference. The first is who you're talking to: on Candy.ai the character is a window in a website tab, while a TooShy companion is an ordinary Telegram contact on a normal user account, so the grey "bot" label never shows beside her name. The second is who opens the conversation. Candy.ai's pages don't say whether a character ever writes first; TooShy's companions do, up to four messages a day on the free tier.

What each one costs

Candy.ai serves its prices in euro. Premium is €13.99 a month on the monthly plan, with the first month discounted to €9.99; €8.99 a month on the three-month plan, billed as €26.97; and €3.99 a month on the twelve-month plan, billed as €47.88. Every plan lists unlimited text messages and 100 tokens a month, plus 18+ image and video generation and the character builder. Its homepage says tokens cover chat, voice, image and video and can be topped up, and that a free trial comes first; we found no limits for that trial printed on the public pages.

TooShy's Telegram tier is free, needs no card and doesn't expire. Premium is $9.99 a month, and WhatsApp access has been paid-only since 4 August 2026. The two sets of prices are in different currencies and bill differently, so Candy.ai's cheapest line (€3.99, paid a year at a time) and TooShy's Premium (monthly) aren't a like-for-like pair.

TooShy's free tier, in numbers

These figures are the limits set in TooShy's own tier configuration, not an average taken from conversations, so they read the same for every user. The free Telegram tier allows 125 messages, 10 photos and 5 voice messages a week, which works out to roughly 18 messages a day if you spread them evenly. Companions can send up to 4 unprompted messages a day on that tier, and the content setting stays flirtatious rather than explicit. Premium adds 40 photos and 15 videos a month, and unlocks fuller conversation.

What Candy.ai genuinely does better

Candy.ai lets you build the character. Its homepage and subscription page both list a creator with settings for appearance, voice and personality, while TooShy offers dozens of companions, each written in advance, and no builder. If what you want is a specific face and voice that nobody else has, that's the product and we don't offer it.

It also treats images and video as part of the plan: the subscription page lists 18+ image and video generation and ties them to tokens you can top up, while TooShy caps video at 15 a month on Premium and has none on the free tier. Shorts gives Candy.ai a feed to scroll that we have nothing like. And its cheapest line, €3.99 a month on the twelve-month plan, sits below our entry price for anyone happy to pay a year ahead.

TooShy's honest limits

TooShy lives in Telegram, so you need a Telegram account. If you'd rather stay in a browser with no messenger at all, Candy.ai is built for that and we aren't.

The free tier is small by design. 125 messages a week runs out for anyone who talks every day, and the fuller, explicit conversation is on the paid tiers. WhatsApp has no free route at all. We also have no character creator, no community feed and no catalogue of user-made characters: you pick one of the companions we wrote, and she stays that character.

What to use on Telegram instead

If an AI girlfriend inside Telegram is what you wanted, look for a product built for Telegram rather than for Candy.ai, because Candy.ai itself isn't there. We can only speak for our own: TooShy's companions run on regular Telegram accounts, and you start from tooshy.ai by picking one and confirming the Telegram link, with no bot name to hunt for. Since Candy.ai's site links to no Telegram account, a message from one using its name has nothing behind it that we can vouch for.

For a wider list of Candy.ai alternatives that isn't limited to Telegram, our roundup and the side-by-side comparison cover that ground, including options that run in a browser the way Candy.ai does.

Who each one suits

Candy.ai suits someone who wants to design the character, wants images and video built into the subscription, and is comfortable keeping a website on the home screen. The yearly plan makes it cheap per month if you commit.

A TooShy companion suits someone who wants the conversation to sit in the app they already open all day, with a contact that writes first, a free tier with no card, and a voice-note-and-photo rhythm that arrives in the chat list rather than in a tab. Which of those matters more is your call.

How we checked the facts

Everything about Candy.ai came from candy.ai itself, read on 14 October 2026: the homepage, the subscription page, the terms of service, the legal information page, and the contact and affiliate pages. We looked for a Telegram link, an App Store or Google Play link and the price table, and we read the navigation. Whether the app stores hold a Candy.ai listing was checked on 13 October 2026, and the Candy-named results there belong to other developers.

We didn't create an account or pay for anything, so what sits behind the sign-up isn't claimed here. TooShy's numbers are limits set in its own tier configuration. Candy.ai's prices were served to us in euro and may differ by country.

Sam Reeves and the TooShy Editorial team wrote this comparison from public pages and TooShy's own settings, never from a paid session with a competitor's product.

Open questions — what still needs a hands-on pass

A few things can only be settled by using Candy.ai for a while, so they're listed rather than guessed at:

  • What the free trial includes in messages, images and voice before the paywall appears.
  • Whether a Candy.ai character ever writes first without being prompted.
  • How long the memory its homepage describes holds up in a long conversation.
  • How many of the 100 monthly tokens an image or a short video costs.

If you'd rather try a companion inside Telegram, TooShy's trial is free and takes no card.

Frequently asked questions

Is Candy AI on Telegram?
No. Candy.ai has no official Telegram presence. The pages we read on candy.ai — homepage, subscription page, terms, legal information, contact and affiliate — never mention Telegram, and the community link on the site points to Discord. Anything on Telegram that uses the Candy AI name isn't run by Candy.ai.
Is there a Candy AI Telegram bot?
Not one from Candy.ai. Its site links to no bot and no Telegram account. A bot or channel that uses the name has no connection to the company that we can see, and we won't point you to any of them. Treat a request for payment or photos from one the way you'd treat it from any stranger.
Is the Candy AI Shorts feed on Telegram?
No. Shorts is a feed of short clips on the Candy.ai website, listed in its top bar next to Chat and Collection. There's no version of it in Telegram. You open it on candy.ai.
Does Candy.ai have an app?
Not in either store. Its homepage carries no App Store or Google Play link, only an "Add to Home Screen" prompt that saves a shortcut to the website. The apps named Candy in the App Store, such as "Candy: Ai Video Generator" and "CandyMate AI", belong to other developers.
What does Candy.ai cost?
Priced in euro on its subscription page: €13.99 a month on the monthly plan (first month €9.99), €8.99 a month on the three-month plan billed as €26.97, and €3.99 a month on the twelve-month plan billed as €47.88. Plans list unlimited text messages and 100 tokens a month. A free trial comes first, with limits we couldn't find published.
What can I use on Telegram instead?
A product built for Telegram. TooShy is one: its companions are regular Telegram accounts you start from tooshy.ai, and the free tier needs no card. It has no character builder or video feed, which Candy.ai does. Our Candy.ai alternatives roundup covers other options, including ones that run in a browser.
Is Candy AI safe?
We haven't used it, so we can't speak to how it behaves. What its pages show is that you sign up and pay on candy.ai, and the subscription page says plans renew automatically for the same price and term and can be cancelled any time. The risk to avoid is off-site: Candy.ai has no Telegram account, so a message there using its name isn't from it.
Is a TooShy companion a Telegram bot?
No. TooShy's companions run on ordinary Telegram user accounts, so they show online status and carry no "bot" label. Telegram's bot accounts are the ones with the label, and bots can't message you first unless you've written to them.
